The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is one of our favorite events of the year and the VS Angels were definitely strutting their stuff yesterday at The Armory in New York City.

Heidi Klum hosted the show, just six weeks after giving birth to her fourth child. She didn’t let that stop her from hitting the runway, drawing screams from the crowd – as seen below.

The show will air on December 1st on CBS, but we won’t make you wait a moment longer to get a sneak peek at the gorgeous supermodels doing what they do best.

Don’t get too excited because you still have a while to watch daytime talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. A statement was released yesterday afternoon by Harpo, Inc., Winfrey’s production company, announcing her plan to end her 20+ year reign. It read: “The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011.”

Do you believe this will be the end for Oprah’s television days? Don’t forget she has the OWN channel on the Oxygen network. They have been pressuring her to use it or lose it – and want to see her bring the show to them.

Winfrey has lent her voice to the upcoming Walt Disney film The Princess and the Frog. The release date for the movie is Nov. 25th in a limited number of theaters and on December 11th worldwide. The budget for the children’s flick was $105 million, and as with most animated features aimed at the younger set, will likely rake in a bundle.

Just a thought — who would you want to see take over Oprah’s prime television time slot? For me it would be Ellen DeGeneres. Our friends at PopEater have already done their homework and have listed the Six Possibilities with pros and cons.

Alexandra Kerry, 36-year-old daughter of Senator John Kerry, was arrested early Thursday morning for suspicion of drunken driving, according to Los Angeles Police officer Bruce Borihanh. She was held for five hours and then released at 5:30 a.m. today on a $5,000 bond.

The film producer was stopped shortly after midnight by an officer after he observed that her vehicle had expired license tags. After she was pulled over, she was given a field sobriety test and appeared to be impaired.

She was subsequently given a breathalyzer test at the police station and was under the legal limit of .08, though she could still be charged with impairment if the arresting officer witnessed her operating the vehicle unsafely.

Alexandra is the oldest daughter of Kerry, Democratic 2004 presidential nominee and U.S. Senator from Massachusetts for the past 24 years.

A spokesman said, “Senator Kerry supports his daughter and will have no further comment on a private matter.”

Heidi Klum, who gave birth to her fourth child just five weeks ago, was on hand in Times Square to promote the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that will be filmed tomorrow and will air on December 1, 2009 on CBS.

Klum, who will serve as host of the show, posed earlier today with Victoria’s Secret Angels Behati Prinsloo, Marisa Miller, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, and Doutzen Kroes. Missing was Adriana Lima, who gave birth to a daughter last week.

Heidi claims to be the biggest woman in the bunch, indicating she still has 20 pounds to lose after giving birth last month to baby Lou. That doesn’t mean she won’t be strutting her stuff during the show. Klum plans to flaunt her curves in some latex pieces that were made just for her.
