Drew’s wife was born Brittany Dudchenko. They met at Purdue where they attended college and were married in February 2003. Drew joined the Saints in 2006, prompting the couple to purchase and renovate a home in Uptown New Orleans. They have a son Baylen Robert Brees who was born on January 15, 2009 — on his father’s 30th birthday.
The couple is becoming increasingly known for their charitable endeavors. They donated $2 million to Purdue to help enhance the athletics programs at their Alma mater. They have also inspired others to return to Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans by lending their name and support to the rebuilding efforts.
Drew and Brittany established The Brees Dream Foundation in 2003. Its mission is to advance research in the fight against cancer and provide care, education and opportunities for children in need. Since its inception, the foundation has committed more than $4.5 million to charitable causes in New Orleans and San Diego. The organization was initially self-funded and has grown due to the generous contributions from individuals and corporations across the globe.
Daniel Kerrigan died over the weekend after authorities found him unconscious on the floor of the family’s Massachusetts home.
Officers found 45-year-old Mark Kerrigan “belligerent and combative” in the basement of the home after responding to a 911 call around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday. They used pepper spray to subdue him before his arrest.
According to the police report, Mark Kerrigan told officers he struggled with his father and put his hands around the elder man’s neck when he wouldn’t let him use the phone. He reportedly told police that he thought his father was “faking it” when he collapsed on the floor.
Mark Kerrigan remains in police custody awaiting arraignment Monday on a charge of assault and battery on an elder person resulting in serious bodily injury.
Kerrigan’s mother, Brenda, refuted claims that her husband’s death was suspicious, telling the Boston Herald that he died of a “massive heart attack.”
“My God. He had a heart attack,” she told the newspaper. “That’s what it was.”

In 2008, Price and Coleman made an appearance on TV’s Divorce Court to discuss their marital problems.
Coleman just recently settled a lawsuit with a man he allegedly struck with his car in September 2008.
More recently, Coleman was hospitalized briefly in Los Angeles after becoming ill.
