The latest romance rumor, confirmed by People magazine, has Jenny McCarthy’s ex-husband, actor and director John Asher dating Jennifer Love Hewitt. The couple met earlier this year when he was taping a guest appearance for an upcoming episode of The Ghost Whisperer.

Asher and Jennifer have reportedly been spending a great deal of time together and were spotted at an intimate dinner party on March 27. Is it possibly that he is the reason the actress broke up with Jamie Kennedy? They announced their split on March 13.

For those who are keeping score, moments before hooking up with Kennedy, JLH dumped fiance Ross McCall. Before that it was musician John Mayer and professional kayaker Brad Ludden. True to her name, this woman keeps her love life churning.

Speaking of splits, Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey shocked their fans earlier this week with a statement indicating they have parted after five years. John Asher is the father of Jenny’s 7-year-old son Evan.

A hot new talent has suddenly emerged from an unlikely location? Lin Yu Chun is being touted as the next Susan Boyle of the singing world. The 23-year-old is a contestant on SuperStar Avenue, Taiwan’s version of American Idol and has impressed the judges with his rendition of the Whitney Houston hit “I Will Always Love You”.

Sporting a bow-tie and looking decidedly boyish, he is vying for $1 million and a possible recording contract. His latest performance has gone viral on the internet with nearly 2 million views since it was posted on April 7.

The round faced soprano with the bowl haircut goes by the nickname of “Little Fatty”. After suffering years of humiliation and lack of self-confidence, his new found fame has been a life changing experience. Lin said, “The show has reinvigorated me. I’m trying not to be overwhelmed.”

It seems the world can’t get enough of Kate Gosselin! Her family captivated the world with their reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 but can Kate captivate audiences on her own? We will soon find out. TLC has just announced that the mom of eight will star in her own series Twist of Kate.

In a 12-episode series that will air late this summer, Kate will visit the homes and work places of women who she has inspired in some way or another. Jon Gosselin will not be making any cameo appearances.

Kate told USA Today, “I look at it as a loose concept. I want to be out there learning from others, helping to provide insight whenever I can, though I don’t consider myself an expert on anything.”

TLC has confirmed that the Dancing with the Stars contestant will also be back with the kids to film a few Kate Plus 8 specials. That project will focus on her life as a single mother.

The busy mom is also ready to promote her latest book “I Just Want You To Know: Letters To My Kids”.

Jon Gosselin, on the other hand, still has no visible means of support. While Kate is enjoying constant media attention and numerous new opportunities, Jon has just been dumped by his girlfriend, his ex-girlfriend is marrying Michael Lohan, he is in financial trouble, and he is suing Kate for custody of the kids.

Mark Kerrigan, the brother of former Olympic skater Nancy Kerrigan, has been indicted by the Middlesex Superior Court Grand Jury on charges including manslaughter after an alleged attack led to his father’s death in January.

Kerrigan, 45, was arrested on January 25 for assault and battery at the family’s Massachusetts home. His father Daniel Kerrigan died about an hour after the alleged altercation and his death was ruled a homicide by the medical examiner.

View video of Kerrigan’s arrest here:

District Attorney Gerry Leone said that Kerrigan went into a “drunken rage” after not being allowed to use the family telephone and his rage led to his “committing the malicious acts that led to the death of his elderly father.”

The Kerrigan family issued a statement, saying they continued to support Mark.

“We are deeply disappointed at the continued prosecution of Mark Kerrigan. We disagree with the decision to indict and look forward to the facts being considered by an impartial jury. The Kerrigan family continues to believe that he is not responsible for the death of their beloved Daniel Kerrigan.”

Greeting Tiger Woods from the first tee at the Masters in Augusta on Thursday morning was a plane flying overhead and pulling an interesting banner that read: “TIGER – DID YOU MEAN BOOTYISM?

The plane flew over just minutes before Woods was scheduled to tee off and it circled the area. The message was a reference to Tiger’s admission that he has returned to Buddhism as part of his recovery plan.

TMZ had it on good authority that the man who paid for the first overhead message had paid for another flyover with the following sentiment: “SEX ADDICT? YEAH. RIGHT. SURE. ME TOO!”
