For some time now there have been rumors swirling that suggest Phillippe has been unfaithful to her. Abbie has vacated the couples shared home and was seen yesterday removing more of her belongings from the residence. When asked about the split and whether there were other “girls” involved, Abbie’s rep replied “no comment.”
Cornish was named Australia’s sexiest vegetarian in 2008. She is currently filming a fantasy film “Sucker Punch”. The premiere is slated for March 25, 2011.
Ryan was previously married to Reese Witherspoon. They have two children – Ava and Deacon. We’re not sure if it is mere coincidence or by design, but Reese broke up with her rebound lover Jake Gyllenhaal in November 2009.
A spectator was killed by flying debris on Sunday at the Firebird International Raceway during the February 21, 2010 Arizona Nationals event. A tire flew off the dragster of driver Antron Brown and struck an unidentified female spectator.
The woman was transported by helicopter to Good Samaritan Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, according to an NHRA statement.
Brown’s 8,000-horsepower dragster appeared to lose power from a cylinder after accelerating at the starting line in a first-round race against Troy Buff. The left-rear wheel and tire came off, and the car flipped onto its right side. The vehicle slid across the track, hit the fence and continued to climb the left-lane retaining wall. There was a flash of flame from spilled fuel as the car came to a stop.
Brown was check out by NHRA Safety Safari personnel and then returned to his pit area with tears welling up in his eyes. He said, “I felt like the back end just dropped out and the car started pitching end over end. At that point, I was upside-down, and in my mind, things were going crazy. I was just hoping I didn’t go into Troy or into the other lane. The next thing I knew, I hit the wall. I saw a little burst of flame come around my head, and I saw sparks.”
The dragster was brought back to the pit area and immediately covered with a black tarp. NHRA is investigating the incident.
Actor Ving Rhames has a large beef with the producers of his latest movie “Red Canvas”. The larger than life actor, best known for his role in “Pulp Fiction”, is suing the project for non-payment.
The lawsuit filed by Ving claims he was promised $200,000 for six days of work on the project. The film company issued a check for $175,000 and a second for $25,000, but put a stop payment on that check.
Rhames is suing writer and producer Kenneth Chamitoff and Red Canvas Productions for the $25,000 still owed and an additional $200,000 for fraud and breach of contract.
Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie were photographed together in Venice, Italy on Sunday. Father and daughter were seen boarding a water taxi for a trip on the Grand Canal with Brad Pitt and the couple’s young daughters Zahara Jolie-Pitt and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. Maddox, Pax, and the toddler twins Knox and Vivienne were not along for this little outing.
Voight was in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday for the 7th Annual Irish Film and Television Awards at the Burlington Hotel. He apparently decided that as long as he was in Europe, he might as well drop in on his daughter, her partner and their six children. See photos of all six kids in Venice here.
Voight and Jolie had a serious falling out in 2001 after he used an interview as a public platform to urge his daughter to seek help for her “severe mental problems”.
During the counter-cultural 70’s, Voight engaged in anti-war activism alongside Jane Fonda. In 2008 he admitted in an op-ed piece for The Washington Times that he regretted his youthful protests against the Vietnam War.
In June 2009, Jon Voight spoke in Washington D.C. at a Republican congressional fundraiser and called Obama “a false prophet”. He has also appeared on Governor Mike Huckabee’s Fox News Show and said Obama was “arrogant, caused civil unrest, and stood for all that this country was against during its past.” In November 2009, Voight was the featured speaker at a tea party protesting the healthcare reform legislation.
