John Mayer has been on a roll lately with his candid comments on a variety of subject. While he may well have crossed the line with revelations regarding his addiction to porn and references to Jessica Simpson as “sexual napalm“, his latest snafu involves the use of the “N” word in a Playboy interview.

The controversy arose in a Playboy Q&A. Mayer said that he was recently asked, “What does it feel like now to have a ‘hood pass’?” He replied, “It’s sort of a contradiction in terms, because if you really had a ‘hood pass’, you could call it a n—r pass.”

The rocker, who has suddenly developed a remarkably unfiltered candor, ‘tweeted’ an apology, explaining that he used the wrong word to explain why black people love him. He said, “I am sorry that I used the word.”

That wasn’t the end of it. Last night while Mayer was performing on stage in Nashville, he got very emotional when he discussed the situation with his fans. As he got farther into his discourse, it became apparent he was referring to any and all of his recent over-the-top remarks.

Alec Baldwin’s 14-year-old daughter Ireland called 911 early Thursday morning to report that her father was unresponsive, despite her attempts to rouse him. An ambulance was dispatched to the “30 Rock” actor’s West Side Manhattan apartment.

By the time police and medics arrived at Baldwin’s Central Park West home, they were able to communicate with him and he agreed to be transported to Lenox Hill Hospital emergency room for treatment.

The actor was examined and released an hour later for an undisclosed condition. A spokesman for Baldwin reported: “This was a simple misunderstanding on one person’s part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital, he’s completely fine.”

Baldwin and his daughter have had a rocky relationship. He caused a huge media storm after he left a message on her cellphone, calling her a “thoughtless little pig”. The audio went viral and the fallout was significant.

The 36-year-old former dental hygienist

cut her teeth in the cosmetics industry working at the Lancome counter at the Robinsons-May department store in Los Angeles. She got her big break when she was hired as makeup artist for John O’Hurley, best-known for his role as catalog entrepreneur John Peterman on “Seinfeld,” who had just begun work on a game show. She eventually scored a position with “American Idol” during the second season, rising to lead makeup artist by season three.

Cowell and Hussainy were first seen together in public just six weeks after the Idol judge’s split from long-term girlfriend Terri Seymour, when he asked her to be his date at his 50th birthday party.

Singer-songwriter John Mayer has dated some of Hollywood’s hottest women but in an interview with Playboy says he was sexually addicted to Jessica Simpson.

Mayer, 32, said of the blonde bombshell, “That girl, for me, is a drug and drugs aren’t good for you if you do lots of them. Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me.”

Mayer and Simpson’s romance ended in 2007 but Mayer claims he is still haunted by their sexual relationship, “Sexually it was crazy,” he says. “That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.”

Mayer says that he never considered dating Simpson prior to their relationship but once involved with the pop star he became hopelessly hooked.

“There are people in the world who have the power to change our values,” Mayer says in his candid confessional. “Have you ever been with a girl who made you want to quit the rest of your life? Did you ever say, ‘I want to quit my life and just … snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to [sleep with] you, I would start selling all my [stuff].”

Kendra Wilkinson claims to have gained 55 pounds during her recent pregnancy. She gave birth via c-section to son Hank Baskett IV on December 11, 2009. Two months have now passed and the former Playboy model is sporting a bikini on the cover of OK! magazine.

The bold caption claims that Kendra lost 25 pounds in just eight weeks. If we do the math, the petite 5′4″ mom is still 30 pounds from her pre-pregnancy weight but you’d never know if by looking at the cover pic. Photoshopped perhaps?

Wilkinson was quoted as saying: “I’ve lost around 25 pounds, but it has nothing to do with the scale. Getting into a bikini in only eight weeks was definitely nerve racking.”

Just a few short weeks ago new mom Kourtney Kardashian appeared on the cover of OK! too. The reality show star blasted the magazine for what she termed a Photoshop scam.

In other Kendra news: The new mom and baby Hank were in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday to watch her Indianapolis Colts wide receiver husband in the biggest game of the year. She fled in tears and later claimed it had nothing to do with the fact that Hank Baskett had mishandled an on-side kick.
