According to RadarOnline, Tiger Woods has checked out of sex addiction rehab at the Pine Grove clinic in Hattisburg, Mississippi. His wife Elin Nordegren flew to Gentle Path a few days ago and the couple were reported to be leaving the facility under heavy security on Friday, February 5, 2010.
During his two month stay, Woods lived in a simple cabin and spent his days attending group therapy sessions and individual counseling. Nordegren flew to the clinic in January and spent five days participating in family counseling with her husband.
Reports indicate that Tiger is intent on reconnecting with his wife and children – photos here. There are also strong rumors that Woods will be returning to the PGA Tour for the Accenture Match Play Championship. The executive director of the event, Wade Dunagan said, “We don’t know anything official yet, but wouldn’t that be nice? It would mean we’d get Tiger on his return two years in a row. Very cool.”
The Accenture event will be held in Tucson February 17-21. It is no small coincidence that the sponsor was the first company to drop Woods after the news of the sex scandal broke. See who else bailed on Tiger in the aftermath.
According to Forbes, Woods still sits atop its ranking of the world’s top sports brand in the athlete category with a whopping brand value of $82 million – down from $105 million. He still has sponsorships with Nike, Electronic Arts and Procter & Gamble Gillette.
The Los Angeles coroner announced on Thursday, February 4, 2010 that Casey Johnson died of natural causes related to “diabetic ketoacidosis”, a condition caused by a shortage of insulin.

Johnson is survived by her father Woody Johnson, owner of the New York Jets, and mother Sale Johnson, who is married to former NFL athlete and sports commentator Ahmad Rashad.
